Become a Demo Host for the ATD Manure Treatment System

Overview

ATD is currently looking for a Canadian hog farm to host a demonstration of our manure treatment system. We are so confident of the benefits your hog farm will realize by using the ATD Manure Treatment System, that we will arrange to pay all the costs of installation and operation over a trial period, on the understanding that if we meet our agreed goals, the operator will receive a discount on the construction costs.

We will prove to you that our manure management system is the only alternative you need.

Become a Canadian Demo Host Farm

To be considered as the demonstration host farm for the ATD system, ATD will first consult with you to determine whether the scope of your operation makes your farm a good candidate.

Our estimates tell us that the doorway to profitability will be at 10,000+ place grow to finish operation or one that produces 57,000 litres a day of 12% solids. It will be harder at this time to justify a smaller installation. However, as some operators may not have that output at one location, we are prepared to build the 10,000 place unit if the operator agrees to expand to fill it. ATD would therefore work with you, your permitting authority and financial sources to obtain your expansion permits and financing based on our satisfying the same conditions to be outlined in our host farm agreement. In other words, if we pass all the tests, the permits will be issued and financing arranged to purchase the system at a discount.

*This offer is limited and may be cancelled at any time. Not all farms will qualify to become the demo host. The suitability of a farm for demo hosting will be determined solely by ATD Manure Treatment Systems.

Sample Demo Host Agreement

Letter of Intent

ATD Waste Systems Inc. has developed a hog manure management system with the following characteristics and benefits:

1. Treats all of the hog manure currently being produced
2. Produces sterile, recycled water not exceeding 3,000 ppm TDS
3. Substantially reduces odours by eliminating lagoons and land disposal
4. Produces a dry, storable, pathogen and weed free, pelleted fertilizer for use or export
5. Reduces water consumption by up to 80%

Initial funding for the plant will be arranged by ATD on the understanding that the demonstration host agrees to purchase the system at a discount from the costs of construction at the end of the construction and trial period, estimated at 18 months, and on the basis that ATD achieves these stated goals.

The host agrees that after due diligence, suitable financial arrangements will be made for the potential purchase prior to the start of construction.

The host further agrees that if expansion is required to utilize the capacity of the plant, that permitting authorities have agreed to provide necessary permits to allow that expansion to proceed by signing this demo offer.

The operator also agrees to enter into the standard ATD licence agreement for the continued operation of the system.
